Eastern Regional Meeting & Central Region Meeting Cancelled-Local Meeting News

Due to the pandemic of the Corona Virus that has swept not only throughout the United States, but throughout the World, we have had to make the hard but necessary decision to cancel the upcoming meeting in Baltimore, MD scheduled for April 14-15 at the BWI Marriott Hotel.  Governor Larry Hogan (R-MD), has mandated throughout the state of Maryland, to shutdown restaurants, bars and the gathering of over 50 people (click on link to read more).

We have reached out to the USPS as well who are also under normal travel restrictions.  The DOL informed us that they will not be attending due to their own travel restrictions.

We apologize for the inconvenience as we are directly into our meetings season with elections and selections of Delegates in preparation of the upcoming National Convention.  Certainly those who have prepaid, to include our vendors, will be fully reimbursed of all payments for this meeting.  Please allow up to 10 days to see your refund.

If you have any questions, we ask that you email us instead of calling.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and will continue to update you as we are updated.  Please be safe and practice caution as you interact with the public.  Your safety is our greatest concern.

Jeff Lepak‎ to NSRMCA Southern Region

Due to the Corona Virus outbreak we are forced to cancel our upcoming Southern Region Spring meeting in Grapevine, Texas. It is with a heavy heart that this decision was made. The decision was made based on the responses I have received from other members and I believe it is the correct decision at this time. I apologize for the lack of information at this time but I wanted to get this out there to everyone as soon as possible and more information will be coming regarding Southern Region business, delegates, national convention, etc. I hope everyone stays well and I will be in touch soon.

Due to no fault of the region and circumstances related to the Covid- 19 outbreak, the Central Region must postpone the scheduled meeting on Saturday, March 21, 2020. In order, to comply with notice from the Governor of Iowa that was released this morning on 03/17/2020, groups or meetings must be limited to ten or less. Also, all public restaurants in the Des Moines area are shut down effective noon on 03/17/20.
Please update the website and other material that could reach membership the most efficiently.
Thank You!
